In only its second week of release, the new album from Craig Moritz continues to gain nation-wide attention, and Canadians are loving getting 'Down and Dirty' with one of Canada's fastest rising country artists.
Featuring 11 sensational hits, including the popular radio singles 'Good at Lovin' You' and 'Hey Y'all', the new album debuted at #31 on the Nielsen Soundscan Country Music chart, and is expected to continue its rise.

Hey Y'all,
Well it's been a few years in the making, but it's finally here, and I'm so excited to get Down and Dirty with all of you!
I am so proud of this album - not only is it a fun and lively album that you'll be able to rock out to at home or driving in the car, but it also gives you a glimpse into my life with songs like 'Fool Inside of Me', 'Till Now' and 'God Only Knows.' But all in all, this album has something for everyone, and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.
I had the pleasure of working with some great people on this album. With most of the work for the album being done in Nashville, I am so lucky to have had some of the best musicians contribute their talents to the songs that mean so much to me.
This album actually all started when I met the awesome Dean Sams of Lonestar at an event in Calgary, Alberta a few summers ago. He and I started working on the album, and Dean co-wrote and produced five of the tracks you'll hear. Shortly after that, I met another Dean - Dean Miller (son of the late, great Roger Miller) - who helped me pull together and produce the other six tracks.
I am especially proud of this album, as I co-wrote seven of the tracks on Down and Dirty, and I was able to work with some of the most talented writers in Nashville and beyond, and I have to thank all the amazing writers who helped me on this album.
So - Down and Dirty is available now for download or purchase online, and I hope you'll get your copy soon. It's going to be available in select retail stores across Canada as well, and will be on iTunes soon!!
Thanks to all my friends, family and fans for all your support - I really couldn't have pulled this album off without all of you! A big thanks to Royalty Records for their support on this album. You guys are awesome! A big shout out to my tireless manager, Stephen Lawrance, for all his time and hard work. And I have to tell you all about the best touring band out there - Catherine, Dylan, Ben and Jonny (aka the Tailgate Band). They are the bomb - like to drink Jagerbombs (haha) - and are the best team to play with every weekend.
